Dual Sport Shinko E705 on GPZ900R Sportsbike
Fitted Shinko E705 dual-sport tyres on the GPZ. The handling felt 'interesting' at first. I felt like someone had installed a gimbal on the forks. But by 2 hours and halfway to Reefton it felt normal/great!
Front: Shinko E705 150/70-H18 (1507018)--$175
Rear: Shinko E705 120/70-17 (1207017)---$155
I fitted them for longetivity as they have very deep thread (1cm). My last Dunlop Tyres only lasted 3,500km on this heavy bike.

How I got my club rego
1) Join CCJMC here. A well-organised club and great members
http://ccjmc.net/members/
2) Organise RWC.
I went to BikeCraft Mordialloc (53 Governor Rd, Mordialloc VIC 3195)
3) Fill in the paperwork from Vicroads
https://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/regi...-a-club-permit
For this you need to organise signature from Club official. To do this you need to login to CCJMC website (once a member) and book inspection.
4) Get fully comp insurance from RACV. You need to phone as there is none on the website regarding this. Mention it's a club bike and they'll redirect you to a department. I got mine insured for $5k agreed value for a mint $91/year :)

Manual fuel tap
While my GPZ's fuel tap is working perfectly, I put this in just in case... to avoid flooded cylinders and the resulting hydro-lock plus bent rods!
Edit: Was a bad idea and removed. Rode for 60km and the bike sputtered like running on 2 cylinders!. Spent 30 minutes on the side of the road to remove the tank and run the original setup.
